Bullfight in Madrid. We visited the bull ring to see the controversial national sport of Spain. A matador entered amidst the masculine band playing, gets enthusiastic applauses when he fend off or booings when he misses. The bull get hooked, killed and pulled out of the ring by the horse in the end. The next thing I saw was the tears in my wife's eyes. Shocked by the bloody fight, she said that it was unbearable. We left the ring quiet. However after several visits, she learned to enjoy the fights. Looking at her being all excited among other audiences, I couldn't help contemplating about human's habituation and the significance of bull fight. By the way, there is a restaurant nearby which serve beef steaks of the dead bulls.
