The Yakushima forest is inhabited by some power. Good or evil, I can't tell. But it is so mysterious that I can't help thinking that way. They say, it rains 360 days a year on this island of which 90 percent is rainforest. And it causes the humid environment for the green moss to grow by which the woods and the grounds are all covered and looking astonishing. The forest is densely surrounded by fog and mist and the alluring shades of the old giant trees aged over a thousand years takes visitors deeper into the woods. It is too beautiful to resist and almost horrifying. The Southern island with mysterious beauty and full of wonder, Yakushima.
